Hey Rick it has been a long time since that apartment in Rockville. In case you can not place the name I am the one that shot out your bedroom light bulb with a pettet gun. Remember Mike Gulledge? He got out after 4 and came back in as an officer, in flight engineer. He retired last year or the year before as a reserve Captain - now he is Capn' Mike.
I went through boot camp at Sampson in Feb-March of 42. Shipped out of San Diego for Hawaii with our night fighter squadron aboard a jeep carrier in Sept 43. My daughter has called San Diego home for many years and I have visited her often there. I think it is a great place to live.
