Welcome aboard, May you have Fair Winds and Following Seas!
Hi,John...I am a fairly new member of this group and have to say I really like being here, and think you will enjoy talking to the ex swabbies as well.I go all the way back to 1956 when I first joined the Navy, and thought I would give you a big WELCOME ABOARD!!
Welcome to Navy Vets! This is a good site to show your pictures, tell your stories and reunite with past friends and shipmates. Take some time to click on things and find your way around. Click on a name and you go to that persons page, click on a unit and you go there, At the bottom right corner of an area is a "View All" and it shows all available items in that group. I see you have several "Units" that you served with, so there should be some of them for you to join, at least. More can be added as needed. Your own page is already set for you to add pictures and blog stories to. Ask if you need help. We do that here.
