Welcome aboard! May you have Fair Winds and Following Seas. I did three West Pacs, so a total of six stops in the PI - should have been seven - the 86 West Pac we were sent thru the canal with the Enterprise and Arkansas into the Med because Kadafi was running his mouth. We left by the way of the Straights of Gibralter. The last time I was there the VFW was about 2 or 3 blocks up from the main gate on the left and somewhere close to it was a place that did roto chickens, remember buying a couple and taking them to Sonny's New Place on George Street.
