USS Wasp (LHD-1) is a U.S. Navy multipurpose amphibious assault ship, the tenth to be named after the USS Wasp, and the lead ship of her class.

    Did a TAD stint summer of 1969 120 days in the north atlantic. Well Oslo to Rota and all major ports in between.
