  • Hello ... I was stationed on the Shenandoah from Apr 1973 through Jun 1973.  I recall seeking to stay on board to be able to participate in the full Med Cruise, but was transferred early and did not get to go on any part of it.  I worked in R-2 Division and really enjoyed working on repairing the Tin Cans that came in.

I was on AD-26 from 72-74 .

I was stationed on board the USS Shenandoah AD-26 from 1972-1974 homeported in Norfolk Virgina. I was a ML3 working for a MLC Langham in the foundry. We had two resistor furnaces but in the two years i was onboard they refitted them with an induction furnace. It was my 1st command I'll never forget the great times i had onboard the SHEN CAN DO. Feel free to e-mail to talk about old times MLC Terry Harrir RET.
